Yes, although some reservations have a two-day cancelation policy. I'm not sure if any of those are in effect at this time.Refresh my memory. In order to avoid a cancellation fee of a dining reservation, you must cancel before mid-night on the day before, right?
Oh really? I didn't know that.Yes, although some reservations have a two-day cancelation policy. I'm not sure if any of those are in effect at this time.
I will look. The cancellation time will be stated on your confirmation email under Guest Policies/Cancel.
I think it's mainly the shows and pre-paid events; Spirit of Aloha and Hoop-Dee-Doo, neither of which are running right now. I thought Cinderella's Royal Table had a two-day policy, but that may have been reduced to one-day for now.Oh really? I didn't know that.
If needed, you can also always modify your reservation to the next day or any day in the future and then cancel. I've done this a couple times when things have come up unexpectedly, even within 20 minutes of the reservation with no issues.Refresh my memory. None are based on "hours." They're all "days." You have to cancel by midnight the day before, not 24 hours before. Some are 24 hours and some 48 I believe.
Thats what I do, as well, when I am beyond the cancel time. Rebook and then cancelIf needed, you can also always modify your reservation to the next day or any day in the future and then cancel. I’m surprised more people don’t do it.Me too! I try not to abuse it and will cancel as soon as I know I won't make it, but it sure does come in handy when things come up or you change your mind the same day.Thats what I do, as well, when I am beyond the cancel time. OMG never thought of doing that...I only missed one reservation due to being seriously ill (think I had bad food) and cancelled same morning, spoke to concierge at our resort and they were fine with cancelling it for me w/o penalties-charge.Thats what I do, as well, when I am beyond the cancel time. Rebook and then cancelI’m surprised more people don’t do it.
