I just made ADR's for Blue Bayou next month. I realized after I hung up that I didn't receive a confirmation number like at WDW. Should I call back or does DLR do it different??

Thanks

DLR does it differently with their PS's. No confirmation number that I have ever heard of or gotten (unless they have started doing it and I am unaware). They will ask if you are/will be a guest at one of the 3 DLR hotels, and if you are, then they just get your name and the number of people in your party. If you are not going to be staying at one of the 3 hotels, then will probably (but not always) take a phone number from you (Rainforest Cafe gets the phone number, but Disneyland Dining does not always). Seeing that these are not actual reservations in the traditional sense and no tables are being held for you, it is very informal the way they do it. It is more just a way of kind of having a loose structure to seating the folks showing up that night, so it is not total chaos. If you are eating at BB for dinner, you MAY find that even with your PS you still have to wait to be seated. We had PS's last October and still had to wait 45 minutes to be seated at night. But it doesn't always happen that way - it just depends on how busy the season is in general, I think.:goodvibes

thanks! They did ask for phone number only. I thought it was interesting b/c I checked two different dates and the ONLY time available both days was the same --1:20. This time is good for us but I thought that was strange...

My guess is that a lot of folks who want the waterside table seating made their PS's for the earliest available time, which is, I think, 11:30 a.m. There is more of chance of getting waterside when you book an early dining time, and so any available PS slots for 11:30 or noon, etc. are filling up and you are stuck with 1:20. However, you may not have the crazy wait to be seated at that time of day like we had at night last October!

Yeah as far as I remember doing PS they have never given me a confirmation number. I usually call back closer to my trip date though and confirm.

I made reservations last week and I questioned them about a confirmation number, because we always get these for PS at WDW. The Customer Service Rep confirmed that these are not provided at DLR, you just give your last name at the podium.:thumbsup2
