Hey DISsers,

We're planning a trip later this summer for 6 days and, I wanted to run our dining plans by all of you to get any suggestions you might have. We're actually more familiar with WDW. This will be our 2nd trip to DLR (1st was in 2008). I'm primarily concerned about table service places as far as advance planning. I figure we can kind of "wing" the rest.

Anyway, here's the plan. I really appreciate any feedback you're willing to offer! Thanks!

SUNDAY-We're doing brunch at the Hotel Del and should arrive at DLR around 2:30. The spread at the brunch looks pretty endless, so I don't think we'll be super hungry afterwards, even by dinner time. I'm thinking Cafe Orleans, PCH Grill, Tangaroa Terrace/Trader Sam's, Whitewater Snacks or possibly Downtown Disney for our first meal on property that evening.

MONDAY-Dinner at Steakhouse 55

TUESDAY-Lunch at Carthay Circle Restaurant, Dinner at a quick service DCA eatery or a DD sit down place. What are your thoughts on Naples?

WEDNESDAY (Mom's Birthday)-Breakfast at Storyteller's Cafe, Dinner at Napa Rose

THURSDAY-Breakfast at The Plaza Inn, Dinner at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen

FRIDAY (Sister's Birthday)-Brunch at Goofy's Kitchen, Dinner at Carnation Cafe

Looks like you have made some pretty good choices to me. :thumbsup2 Only one I see missing that I personally would want to fit in is Blue Bayou.

Sunday... I vote for Cafe Orleans. One of my favorites!

Tuesday... I can't give a recommendation because I have never been to Naples but I have been eying their menu and it looks like they have plenty to choose from. Pretty sure we will give it a try on our next trip.

Wednesday... The last time we went to Storytellers I had the banana stuffed french toast and it was wonderful.

I agree on the Blue Bayou.

We usually try to do one "big" ("special") thing each day, then snack the rest of the time.

For example, my DH and I are heading out on Wednesday 7/11 this year, that day we get there, we are going to do Fantasmic Dessert seating, and then Thursday, we're doing the Plaza Inn Breakfast, Friday will be Ariel's Grotto, and then Sunday a Blue Bayou lunch. (We're going to Universal on Saturday, and Monday we'll be leaving after lunch.) I'm thinking we might hit up Trader Sam's when we get back from Universal.
