Hi all, I am leaving for Disney World in 2.5 months. We are on the dining plan and want to make our reservations. Can you tell me your list of the best table service restaurants at Disney World? We are staying at the GF for 6 womderful days. Thanks....

Reservations could be made six months ahead of time...can't say what kind of luck you might have getting extremely popular restaurants like Le Cellier or 'Ohana dinner or a Fantasmic package. Those have likely been booked up for quite awhile.

I agree with Nala, it may be hard getting some of the more popular restaurants, especially for the time frame that you will be going. However, to answer your question this is a list of TS that we like and our must dos.

- California Grill (a must do)
- Akershus breakfast (a must do)
- Cape May Cafe (a must do)
- Artist Point
- Yachtsman's Steakhouse
- Le Cellier
- Chefs de France
- Tony's Town Square
- Mama Melrose
- Crystal Palace breakfast
- Whispering Canyon Cafe
- Boma's (dinner, going to give breakfast a try in May)
- Teppan Edo
- Cinderella Royal Table for dinner
- Liberty Tree Tavern lunch

This list is not in any particular order and I am sure I am missing some since I love the food in Disney. Hope you have a great trip and good luck planning out your ADRs (it can be stressful, but it is really fun :goodvibes)

Moved to the main Restaurant board as it is a request to recommend restaurants and is not a question about the dining plan.

If you are not familiar with the dining plan you may want to note that a number of the restaurants named cost 2 DDP TS credits per person. Le Cellier dinner will also cost 2 credits as of March 1.

A few of my family's favorites that are 1 credit are
Biergarten-buffet in Epcot
Teppan Edo in Epcot
Mama Melrose in Hollywood Studios
Tusker House in Animal Kingdom--we've only done lunch
Yak & Yeti-in Animal Kingdom

Our favorite breakfasts are
Kona at the Poly
Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge
Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge

We love Citricos at the GF but that is a signature dining. California Grill and Narcoossee's are good as well.

I would suggest you go online to the Disney website and look for availability. Then check out the AllEars website for the menus.

Good luck. There are plenty of good restaurants at Disney.

So excited for you...hope that you have an amazing time. Some of our favorite TS restaurants include:

O'hana
Chef Mickeys
Sci Fi(more about the atmosphere than the food)
Cape May Cafe
Biergarten
Flying Fish

If you find yourself planning to eat any meals OOP, a few of our favorites not on the dining plan are:

T-Rex
Garden Grove at the Swan & Dolphin

Happy planning! :cheer2:

Hi all,
I know I am late but just made my trip ressies a week ago. Thanks for all your great ideas, I will be making my reservations today and see what I can get. We are early eaters so maybe that will help. We have been to Disney many times but this is the first time we have stayed at GF, so i am super excited.
Thanks Again,

we enjoyed Narccoossees, Yak and Yeti, Chefs de France, and Raglan road on our last trip.

Here are my favorites! If you decide to do some 2 credit signatures/shows and more than 1 table service a day, I suggest considering the deluxe dining plan that includes appetizers.

If traveling with children, that would change some of my favorites... I'd probably skip quieter restaurants (like Jiko and Citricos) for others.

At the Grand Floridian, you have some great dining experiences so I'll recommend all of them! Never been to Grand Floridian Cafe though...
Citricos
Narcoosees
1900 Park Fare Breakfast
1900 Park Fare Dinner

Dinner Shows:
Hoop Dee Doo
Spirit of Aloha

Signature Restaurants:
Flying Fish Cafe at Boardwalk Inn
California Grill at Contemporary Resort
Brown Derby at Hollywood Studios
Jiko at Animal Kingdom

Magic Kingdom:
Crystal Palace
Liberty Tree Tavern

Animal Kingdom:
Yak and Yeti - my most favorite of all!

Hollywood Studios:
50s Prime Time

Epcot:
Coral Reef
Biergarten
Restaurant Marrakesh

Character Meals:
Crystal Palace
Garden Grill Dinner
1900 Park Fare Dinner
Tusker House
Hollywood and Vine - (only recommend breakfast)

So what did you reserve? I always like to see what people get after they ask for recommendations. :) Do you need some more suggestions or did you luck out today with making your ressies?

Welcome to the boad and you'll love GF. We had 2 wonderful stay there and hoping to visit soon.
2 of our favorite restaurants are actually in GF. My husand and I Love Narcoossee's and Citricos. We also had enjoyable breakfast and lunch at the Grand Floridain Cafe. One year my husband surprised me to a trip at GF and I only had 1 week to plan ADR's we were fine and able to eat in many good restaurants.
We just went to Disney 3 weeks ago and I had ADR for all our meals but changed a couple and we were able to do walk ins in a few. Try Via Napoli, it was really good. We had an early sitting at LeCellier (I guess someone cancell and was able to eat there). If you go to a place as they are openning just asked if they are taking walk-ins. We changed are day for MK and When I checked all MK resturants was booked but we were ready to eat lunch we walked in Tony's and they took us with a 5 mins wait.
Have a magical trip.
