Dining Plan ???

When we went to WDW a couple of years ago, we had a Platinum plan where we could basically eat anywhere we wanted... 3 TS, 1TS and 2 CS or whatever we wanted.... Is there a dining plan available to DVC'ers like this???

They have the new MYW Dining Option that DVC'rs can participate in. If I am correct it is $38 per person for one counter restaurant and one sit-down restaurant per day. It is less for kids - not sure the price - but - the kids have to order off of the kids menu.

I am under the impression that not all restaurants qualify - but - if you skip lunch you can go to a higher priced restaurant.

I began to look in to it because unlike many packages that are offered one book and one site both said it is a good deal. But, to make it a good deal you have to of course do some research and then make your dining reservations in advance (to make sure you get the restaurants you want).

Thanks for the info...Actually we did this dining plan last year and it was good BUT a couple of people in our group that are going this time did want to eat at TS restaurants 2-3 times per day rather than one CS, one TS and a snack. I was wondering if the $38 dining plan was the only one that's available to DVC'ers at this time...

At this time, yes, the standard plan is all that is available.

Can still get the Platinum plan booking with Disney, not DVC.
