dining plan vs concierge

Help!! We stayed at the Poly December last year and were lucky enough to be upgraded to Concierge, WOW!! This has now given us an insatiable appetite for this level. We had booked the dining plan but also used the facilities at concierge. My question is can we book concierge without the dining plan?

Yes you can, you can book it as 'room only'. There can be discount codes for these (in the same way that you get 'Free Dining' deals), best ones are usually Annual Pass (and depending on savings it might be worth investing in one of those just for the room discount) but they sometimes offer general public codes.

I've never booked (or even looked) through Disney UK as I'm DVC so I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I have a feeling they only offer the package deals on there. If so then it would mean booking direct with Disney US though I'd actually recommend using Dreams as then they'll also automatically try to apply any discount codes if they're released saving you the hassle of watching and calling all the time yourself.

Edit: You can of course still buy a room/ticket package without dining, but it's really not a good deal without Free Dining, and with the concierge lounge FD could possibly be overkill.

We booked with Disney uk last year and got it added on. We stayed at AKL and had a great time. We mainly used it for breakfast and getting juice

Were staying concierge at the yacht club for part of our up coming trip, we managed to get a great rate through expedia uk that was much cheaper the Disney uk/USA so keep an eye out .

Don't forgot to email ipo with any ADR requests just before your 180 days as they will book them for you (and from what I have read you have better chance of getting the really hard to get adrs like CRT)
