Hi guys - thanks for all of your help! It seems that the more I read about snacks allowed on the meal plan, the more confused I get. For places such as the Main Street Bakery (MK), Fountain View Bakery (EPCOT), Backlot Express(MGM) and Everything Pop (POP Century), what types of items are considered a snack on the meal plan? :listen:

Thanks Again,

Tmac

The same things as everywhere:

Chips
soda
bottled water
ice cream novelty
small box of popcorn
piece of fruit

some places won't have some of these things, but you'd have to chose what they had, like at pop, you'd have to chose a soda, bottled water, chips or fruit, since (to my knowledge) they have no novelty ice creams or popcorn. Same with restaurants, if you want to use your snack credit there, you have to pick what they have. As for the bakeries, I'd think you couldn't use a snack credit there. Soem people have been able to use the snack credit for rice crispy treats, but it's not on the plan, so the CM's don't have to let you do it.

I plan on trying to get rice krispy treat on the plan heard alot of people doing it...

This is my first time posting here, but I have read a lot of great information. We will be going to Disneyworld in October and will have the dining plan. We also are wondering about the snack options. We will have a 5 year old and a 15 month old in our group. They love fruit, so we were excited to see that as an allowed option for snacks. But it looks like most places don't offer the stated "single piece of fruit". Do fruit bowls or small plates of cut fruit generally count for the dining plan?

Also, if anyone who has been to Disney in the last couple of months and used the dining plan could post what snacks they got with the plan and from where, it would be very helpful.

Thank you!

It specifies one *whole* piece of fruit, so I think they won't let you do the cut up stuff.

Hmm - rice krispies, eh? :) I LOOVES ME some RKTs in mickey shapes :) LOL

Anyone know if Dole Whip is counted as an ice cream novelty? ;)

Dole Whips are not considered a snack on the dining plan. The ice cream novelties are the standard ones you get from the carts scattered throughout the park.

Sorry!! I completely missed your "wink"! Oh, if only Dole Whips were included! :) :) :)

my daughters love grapes. do they count? they are actually cheaper than most single piece items.... orange, apple etc...

anybody know?
