We have AP's so I know we won't be able to use the dining plan. However....my mom and dad may join us for 3 or 4 nights during our trip. If they do the dining plan for 3 nights they will have 6 table service, 6 counter service, and 6 snacks - correct? Is there anything that says the 4 of us cannot go to dinner together and my mom and dad use 4 options for the 4 adults?? Our DD will be 2 so she's still free and I always share with her. Even though we arent' on the plan they are - and they can use 2 at once per person for signature restaurants. Can this be done? Does anyone know?

Thanks!
Amanda

Anyone know? I know it's new and we don't know as much as we would like to about it yet but anyone use it yet? Or have this particular answer??

This does not answer your question,, but does provide some additional information:

Choose from over 100 participating Disney restaurants. For each night of your package stay you will enjoy:

1 Table-Service meal including appetizer, entrée, dessert, non-alcoholic beverage and/or gratuity/service charge
1 Counter Service meal including entrée and non-alcoholic beverage
1 Snack, such as snack-cart ice cream, popcorn or a non-alcoholic beverage
Children ages 3-9 must choose from children’s menu if available

Meal options are flexible and can be used in a variety of combinations, including:

using multiple meal options in any one day
exchanging one table-service meal for one character dining experience
exchanging two table-service meals for one meal at a dinner show or at a signature restaurant like the California Grill.
1 Table-Service meal can be exchanged for 1 Character Dining Experience. 2 Table-Service meals may also be exchanged for either 1 Signature Dining Experience at one of Disney’s finest restaurants, such as the acclaimed California Grill or for 1 Disney Dinner Show, such as Hoop-De-Doo Musical Review

Thanks!! I guess it's just too early for specifics like that I am asking for. I just know that my parents won't want all that but if we can share with them it would be worth it for them to do the dining plan.

Thanks Again!!

Just an FYI: The counter service meal does include dessert. princess:
