Dining plan question?

We are going to WDW week after Easter. I have already made 1 ADR confirmed by card. If I decide to add ddp will this be a problem or easy to switch to plan. Also should I check and see if I can still get most of my choice for Adrs before making my mind up to switch. I do not wish to purchase the plan and be stuck with credits I will be unable to use for any good ts meals.

ADR's and DDP are not linked. ADR's are tied to your phone number, and are separate from any room reservation or dining package you may (or may not) have.

They may ask when you book the reservation if you have the DDP, but it doesn't matter whether you do or don't until you actually get to the restaurant.

So go ahead and make those reservations. If you decide not to go with the DDP, or not to keep them for any reason, they're easy to cancel. That's much better than deciding down the line to get the DDP and not being able to get ADR's for the restaurants you'd like.
