Dining Plan Question. Please Help!

For whatever reason, I can't seem to find a straight answer to this question, so I'm posting here so I know for sure! I am traveling to the world in June, and staying at AKL Kidani for 10 nights. We are debating on getting the Regular dining plan (1 TS, 1 QS, 1 S / night). There will be 3 adults, so we will have 30 TS credits. Are there any rules as to how these credits need to be used by the 3 adults? In theory, could 1 adult use all of the credits? Thanks!

Yes, one person could use all the credits as long as you are all on the same package. The credits are shown as total available, not per person.

The dining credits are allocated by room so anyone on the package can use them. There was a thread last year where one person in the room used nearly all the snack credits and the rest of the people on the package were upset. If you are a group of friends you'll need to make clear how many credits each person is entitled to and have a system to keep track of how many each person uses.

They do need to be used by the people on that reservation, though. You cannot save up credits and then go out to eat with 6 adults one day. The server will only let you use as many credits at one meal as you have people on the plan. Exception is 2TS meal credit places - 3 adults will use up 6 credits of course but you're still only 3 people.

I remember the thread about the guy who used his whole party's snack credits. the poster wanted Disney to refund them for the credits he used. No dice, they would have had to get any refund from the errant party member.
