Dining plan puts everyone in a Tizzy!

Today I realized as I was sitting her reading the boards, just like I do everyday when I get a few minutes that the dining plan is stressing alot of people out and for what reason? I have no idea! I think everyone is over reacting to what others say is available and not available or allowed and not allowed. Or how to use credits how not to use credits....

We used the plan in May, My family loved it but some may not!

But one thing it is not is difficult to use, or as I have heard some say more trouble than its worth. I am sorry if this sounds rude but chill out over the plan people----------You get your pamplet at check in you find a place to that accepts it you order your app. drink, entree, dessert hand him one room key from your party he brings back your receipt sign it, your on your way with a full belly....

Also just my opinion but does it really matter who is using child credits for adult meals and who is not, do you really think Disney doesn't know- the premium plan has worked like this for years.....I personally think the ones who are irritated are the ones that are not there to use it, maybey a bit of jealousy thing......I know flame me but really thats all that is discussed lately.

I agree. It seems to me that people are getting way too stressed out over speculation. If you look at the thread of what people have ACTUALLY been denied on the plan, there is only 1 item (or at least that's how it was last time I checked). I think if you use the plan as it was intended, adult credits for adults and kids credits for kids, there should be little problem. Those who are trying to pool credits and use kids credits for adult meals are in my opinion asking for trouble and the confusion that comes with it.

One complaint that I do agree with, however, is the claim that children are being denied appetizers (although again, no one as of yet has posted this problem on the thread listing problems people have actually encountered).

I am a obssesive planner and even I'm not letting myself get carried away with all the complaints. I'll just go with the flow and not get stressed out. Your meals are paid for and for me it's free. It's a vacation, enjoy!!

The "who" doesn't matter. But the "what" does. Sorry, but apathy is not a virtue of mine.

Since I am not omniscient, I can't say what Disney does or does not know. There have been many things that I thought Disney would know that apparently they don't. So I never assume what they do or do not know.

No jealousy here. I will be using the plan in Oct. and I think the plan is great. Frankly, I don't think there is much of a "tizzy". Many people discuss/debate things here. It never got heated or personal. Just because there is a debate, it does not make it a "tizzy".

Regarding the child appetizer issue, the only "upset" people are the ones who may not be able to use the plan the way that they originally understood it (or in some cases, were told by CM's). While my interpretation may have been different, I don't begrudge anyone for their interpretation or their reaction.

Regarding the child credit for adult credit issue, again I say the only "upset" people are the ones who did it (or planned on doing it). Most everyone else is happy to see that the "loophole" may be closed.
