Dining plan for Food and Wine

Hi All. We're doing a split stay this fall and I'm considering getting the QS dining plan for the last 2 nights so we can use it at the Food and Wine festival (not planning to drink, just eat).

For 2 kids and 2 adults, for 2 nights, the QSDP should be $297. If each snack credit is worth about $5, then each QS meal credit should be worth about $13.50. Is my math correct? Based on the average value of 1 credit at many of the QS locations, we should come out ahead.

We plan to spread the credits out through 3 days of our stay (start of check-in day to end of check-out day) and use all the snack credits for F&W.

I'm not sure I understand - you will have the dining plan for 2 nights - those will be the two days you go to Food/Wine, right?
So that's 4 snack credits for each of you, 16 total.

If you share some snacks at Food/Wine, 16 can get you a lot of tasting!

We're going to food and wine just 1 of those 2 days.

You can also use one of the QS credits if you get 3 food items from one booth

It makes a lot of sense to me as snack credits used at food and wine tend to cost a bit more, and 8 of the 16 snack credits were paid for with the children's plan. Score!

I did not know that. Good info. I'll have to rent a couple of kids next time. ;-)
