Dining Plan/Character Meal Changes

I just booked my trip thru AAA and got my book (which they send after booking). I noted that it said something confusing about the character meals. I thought just Cindys was changing to "signature" dining and thus requiring two TS credits on the dining plan. But if I'm understanding the book right it says in 2/06 ALL character meals are changing to signature dining? Is this true? Has anyone heard this?

I believe it is just Cindy's going to Two
On the DW website the list of DP table-service resturants only has Cindy's changing as of Feb

I hope this is not true. If it is ther may be a lot of cancellations. Are they even worth 2 credits?

I've contact my TA from AAA because I can't find ANYWHERE on Disney info sites where is says this. I'm just hoping that it was oddly worded in the info that was sent to me. It says "Character dining experences can be exchanged for 1 TS credit. In 2/06 all meals, including character dining experiences at CRT, will require 2 TS credits." I'm hoping they meant that ALL MEALS at CRT will require 2 credits...which I already knew.

It means all meals at CRT, even the character ones--at CRT. Someone used some poor sentence structure.

I hope this isn't true as I have ressies at CRT on Feb. 7th. I'm counting on it being only 1 credit .
I think I will call AAA myself to see what the deal is .

Edit.....I found the paperwork from AAA when I made my res. and the Dining Plan under Magic Kingdom Park Signature Dining says: NONE, meaning that there are no Signature Dining Experience or Dinner Shows .

On the disney web site it states the CRT is as of Feb. 1 is 2 ts credits.

I just got off of the phone with AAA and Disney Dining.....
CRT will be 2 TS credits as of Feb.1, 2006 .1 TS credit until Jan. 31, 2006.
AAA also informed me that Le Cellier was now 2 TS credits but Disney Dining informed me that it was still only 1. So with 2 weeks to go until I arrive I have to replace CRT with something else.....
I don't know if I'm supposed to do this, but forgiveness is easier to get than permission . Here is the link to the Disney Dining:

So, Disney Dining did confirm that LeCellier is still only 1 TS?

Why, oh why, do people do this? If a TA (or any other job) doesn't really know the answer to something, instead of trying to come off as an expert, why don't they just say "I don't know, but I'll be happy to find out and call you right back".

Why is it so hard to say "I don't know" if they obviously have quick access to the correct information?

Sheesh. It would be so much more professional than the way they make themselves look passing bad information and causing people to spend twice the amount of time fixing their error.

As an English teacher, I have to say that this seems like a grammatical error. "All meals" would definitely imply every character meal, but we know that isn't true since we have the '06 Disney brochure and it says opposite. Companies really need to realize that badly worded literature causes lots of worry and stress to guests and TAs.

Yup, definately heard back from my TA who stated that it was just oddly worded (and in fact confused her too!) Character meals- except those at CRT- stay 1 TS credit...YAY!
