Odd that they would give you essentially 2 appetizers and cut the dessert. Doesn't seem like it makes any sense IF it's even true...

Sorry, I forgot to type in there, since i was typing this sucker out in a rush

DESSERT IS INCLUDED IN THESE CHANGES

DESSERT IS INCLUDED

Sorry Guys

Okie Dokie!!!!! I JUST got off the phone with the nicest CM at WDW and he said unequivically that this is an absolute lie! As he said, why would they change it in mid-year when people already have all their plans made, WDW budgeting is in place, etc. He went on to further state he has been there for over 10+ years and any changes that MAY be made would be in response to feedback from THIS year and apply to NEXT years free DDP offers.

So there you have it. You kind of have to wonder about a so called CM who comes on with no previous postings etc. so OP, hope you had your fun now go crawl back under your rock!

The call center is never uptodate. Call again and have them check for an urgent dining plan message. They want this to be in effect for the 4th of July. As i previously stated, this was JUST announced. Give it some time.

These changes will be effective beginning July 1st, 2008. All guests who have already purchased their packages can either keep their original package or be given the choice to upgrade at no charge.

My question is, why would they give they give restaurant CM's this piece of information. And if everyone in the restaurant had a different dining plan deal how would they ever keep it straight?! lol

Bored much? :bored:

Call again and have the CM check their messages for an URGENT DINING PLAN CHANGE. Most probaibly havn't heard of it yet. They want this in effect for the 4th of July.

7 posts total...PLEASE...this is an absolute JOKE.

The first clue was the OP called it "Epcot Center."

Most definitely :stir:

It makes no sense, because if customers were given the "choice to upgrade at no charge or keep their original package" why on earth would someone NOT upgrade? Would they be like "no, I'd rather NOT have a free appetizer, and I'd like to pay for tips." I can't imagine Disney wording anything like that. As much as I would like it to be true, there's just no way that it is.

Sounds a bite fishy to me to change plans mid year. Maybe for 2009.

One time, I called to inquiry about a code, the CM told me that they are not told about changes in advance so they can not let it slip out until it is official.

Oh another reason you know it's not true. He says customers can upgrade or keep their package. Hrmm let's see, do I want free tips and appetizer or pay for tips and appetizer. Oh I think I'll just keep my current package and pay, thanks anyways! :lmao: Get over yourself.

PM me for the direct number to call my manager

I'm tired of this, I give you guys the upmost respect and in return i get nothing.
