We are going in 10 days and will be using the dining plan. We're a big group and have 4 rooms reserved at POR. My dad (who is orchestrating the whole thing) told me today that he thinks all our meals might be pooled on our tickets. Could that be right? I assumed that the meals for each person in the room would be on the tickets for the people in that room.

For example, dh and I have a room with two of our kids; my parents have a second room with two more of our kids; my brother and his wife and their two kids have a third room; other brother and wife and kid have the fourth room. Wouldn't the tickets issued for each room have meal credits for just the people in the room? My dad thinks that each ticket will have credits for everyone in our whole party on them. (I think that would get really confusing, myself.) Any ideas?

Also, will children's tickets have meal plan credits on them as well, or only the adult tickets?

Thanks for any info, and I hope this wasn't too confusing.

We recently booked two rooms. I've been told that each person in a room has all the dining plan credits for their room only on each card. In other words, each room is seperate, and each Keys to the Kingdom Card has the credits for each room on them.

We had two rooms. With the dining plan, all people listed under one room will 'pool' points.

This is great in theory, but make sure BEFORE they print your cards at the checkin counter that they have each room's member CORRECT.

Our trip should have been easy (DH, DS and I with one last name and sharing one room, and my parents and brother with another last name in the other room). Apparently it wasnt that easy, they put me and my mom and my ds on one room, and my husband, brother, and father on the other???? :confused3 Anyways, the guy checking us in had already screwed up the cards twice, so we just had to keep track of how many we were charging, but it was hard with a small group I cant imagine with a big one.

Again, just double check WHILE YOU ARE CHECKING IN. Im sure it wouldnt have been a big deal to correct had I caught it BEFORE hand.

Thanks! That's how I thought it would work.

Thanks for the tip--will be sure to do this (and will make sure the rest of the group double checks, too.
