I haven't paid much attention previously to the Dining plan since it was not available to DVC. But now that it is, I'm crunching some numbers. I seem to remember seeing signs on the booths last year that you could use snack credits at the F&W festival??? If so, is it 1 credit per snack, and is it good on all items or only certain items? Just food or wine and beer too? Also, could you use a childs snack credit for these things too?

Thanks!!!

If I remember correctly, the items being served at the booths during the F&W Fest were listed as one snack credit a piece. Not all of the items were available for purchase using the DDP though.

I am not sure about children's snacks though as that I do not have any children. But now that I think about it. I am pretty sure that there is no such thing as a 'children's snack credit' because there is no such thing as children's snacks as opposed to a children's entree/appitizer menu.

HTH!

Thanks. So a snack credit is a snack credit no matter who it's for, is that what your saying?

Did anyone else use their snack credits at the F&W last year?

Hiya!

I worked at a F&W booth this year and all the booths allowed "snacks" to be used as payment for any food product. You're on your own for wine and beer ;)

It's actually a pretty good deal as some of the food is $4.50! And honestly, one chilaquile (sp?) from Mexico was pretty much as filling as a small lunch.

The Food and Wine festival is SO much fun! It's a great time of year to visit Epcot. Just beware the weekends though, Epcot becomes insanely busy!

We used a number of our snack credits at F&W last Oct., it's a really nice feature.

We were pleasantly surprised in October to be able to use our snack credits at the Food and Wine Festival. As others have said, there were good only for food not beverages. Every booth had at least one food available, and if I remember correctly, I think everything was available. A tip though, is to pay attention to the cost of your "snack". Some F&W snacks are more costly than others, and using your credits for the more expensive snacks is a good idea.

This is great news. I have a trip in late Oct with another mom and our two dd's to celebrate the girls both turning 13 (during the trip no less!!!). The two of us are thrilled to be able to participate in the FW Festival for a change. And now, I find I can use our snack credits for those food booths!!?? Does life get any better!! I know I'm not going to be buying popcorn or mickey bars with my snack credits, so they were most likely going to be unused. This is making it so much easier. Thanks for the heads up!!!
