The description of the dining says "1 table service can be used for one character meal"

Does that mean we can only go to one character meal on the dining plan or can we use as many as we can?

Can we go to dinner shows?

:santa:

That's just saying it takes 1 TS credit for the meal. You can do as many as you want depending on the number of credits you have, although CRT at the castle might be 2 TS credits, but I'm not 100% sure as we've never done that one :confused3. But all of the other ones like Chef Mickey's, Cape May Cafe breakfast, Ohana's breakfast with Lilo & Stitch, etc. are just 1 TS credit. As far as dinner shows...yes, you can use your TS credits for those. But I believe those take 2 TS credits each. Hope this helps :thumbsup2.

That means that all character meals cost one credit per person on the dining plan (with the exception of Cinderella's Royal Table, you need to spend two for that.)

You may use dining plan credits for the Hoop De Doo Revue, the Polynesian luau, and Mickey's Backyard Barbecue. These all cost two credits.

Thanks for the quick info now more questions.

CRT - I heard the the fairy godmother is the only one there at Dinner. Is that true? is it worth going without Cinderella there?

Dining plan - Can you order anything off the menu?

Also are the majority of restaurants 1 ticket?

or should I say the majority of good restaurants 1 ticket?

Do you find the dining plan to be worth it?

I believe Cinderella is also there at dinner for photos, someone can correct me if I'm wrong. But I don't think there are circulating characters. The Fairy Godmother is there. For breakfast and lunch there are several princesses who circulate among the tables.

At most restaurants you can order anything off the menu. There are a few restrictions. They are very few and far between and usually concern 1) what can be ordered as an appetizer, which is only relevant if you are on the deluxe plan 2) fixed-price "special menus" at some TS restaurants, or 3) specialty beverages. Some are just common sense...such as the fact that you can't order a Kitchen Sink for dessert at Beaches & Cream.

I don't use the dining plan. But my situation is not typical of most WDW visitors.

We've gone to breakfast, lunch and dinner at Cinderella's Castle. At dinner, Cinderella is in the bottom of the castle for photos. They will call your party for your photo op. When you go up into the castle for dinner, the Fairy God Mother and the two mice, Suzy and Perla do a little show. They do come to random tables for photos but you must be quick. It's not like other character dinings where they make it a POINT to meet and greet everyone. The food at dinner wasn't very good but if you like pictures, it's worth it. It does take 2 table service meals from your dining plan. I hope this helps!
