Heres my story, I love just about everything unfortunately not so with the men in my life!

DH is Grumpy if there is stuff like veggies or sauces. Does need eat any food other than Steak, cheeseburgers, turkey, chcken and roasted loin of pork and actually got him to eat shrimp scampi that he loves now !!

DS is practicing to be Grumpy Jr same eatting habits!

ME love it all, except sushi!

SO I came up with these restaurants, and these guys are tough so I hope I made all the right picks!

Any input on your own experienice or suggestions are very welcomed !

Narccoosse's thought we could see the fireworks from there have seating at 8pm thinking it would be great way to start vacation!

Coral Reef, they love fish tanks

Whsipering Canyon, son's birthday and can't wait to have them ask for ketchup!

Sci Fi for the cars thinking the boys love cars so....

Le Cellier, even though it is another country think hubby may enjoy the steak I hope.....

Planet Hollywood , think the menu suited them....

House of Blues, they love the Blues Brothers how can I say no right??

I have the dining plan and will be using that. All feedback welcomed thank you!

I have eaten twice at Sci-Fi. Love the atmosphere and will def. keep the kids occupied. Had a better meal at lunch then at dinner. Great burgers and onions rings. Le Cellier was good but not memorable for me or the kids. Haven't eaten at your other picks yet. Good Eating!!! :cheer2:

Geez Fidge, you have the same exact problem as me. Only it's just my DH and myself going to WDW, my DS is staying home alone. He's 24, and I sure as you-know-what wouldn't be able to put up with both of them, trying to find food places to please each! Sheesh! I'd rather go solo :headache: My DH is always asking me why I keep looking at the food menu's at WDW and I tell him it's b/c I'm trying to make sure what restaurants we choose serve chicken fingers. :lmao: I mean, he does eat some stuff, but Gosh forbid if it has a veggie or onion in it! Yet he loves french onion soup...go figure??? :confused3 I'm like you, everything but sushi and escargot. Anyway...
We ate at Sci-Fi...really enjoyed it.
We're staying at AKL and I have 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners booked at BOMA's there. I hear even the pickiest of eaters even enjoy it. Plus you can walk around the resort and see some wild animals and such. Just a suggestion. Also we are going to try LeCellier for Lunch for the 1st time. I'm sure he'll find a sandwich he'll like.
I've never tried the other restaurants you mentioned either, so I can't comment. I find the buffets at WDW are safe. They have some really delish stuff on them and DH usually finds a few things to eat. Also, the Italian restaurants are usually another safe choice for us. He really enjoyed the character meal at Liberty Tree Tavern too! He ate tons which shocked me, even ask for refills on the turkey and mac & cheese! You might want to check into that as well.
My DH would settle for a typical hot dog or 2 or some pizza and he'd be content. Not me, when I'm at WDW I want to try everything at the TS or buffets. Where I come from in PA we have to travel to get anything different and decent to eat. I'm a chef at my own restaurant and I just love to try different things and have someone else do the cooking! :thumbsup2
Good Luck! ;)

We love House of Blues. We go everytime we are in DD.
Wasnt crazy about Sci-fi. Atmosphere is fun, but food is horrible.

You didn't say when you plan on eating at Sci Fi, but we've enjoyed lunch there much more than dinner. If you go for lunch and stick with burgers and shakes, the food is really good.

By the way, I loved the BLT Soup at Sci-Fi .
If you look around on this board there's a thread titled "Pictures of food at WDW" or something to that nature.
People post pictures of their meals that they've ordered from around WDW. My jowels (sp?) were watering! They were calling it "Food Porn". :lmao: But be forwarned...don't read it on an empty stomach ! I'm trying to diet and it was perhaps not the best thing for me to be reading right before bed! I got so hungry I actually started feeling sick. Between that thread and the food network I was sure I would end up with the dieters-breakdown ! :crazy2: But I somehow gained the will power to overcome! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:
I'm assuming you've read the menu's on www.allearsnet.com ? That's what I have to do to make sure we can eat at certain places with hubbies finickey appetite. Another dangerous site by the way. :teeth:

Narccoosse's we probably be a good choice with the new chef change and they do have lobster.

I haven't eaten at Coral Reef so I don't know.

Whsipering Canyon, would be good for your boy. Just note that the meat is smoked. The ribs are really good as is everything else and there is a LOT of it.

I agree that shakes and burgers are your best bet here.

Le Cellier is better for dinner than lunch. Dinner has steak, lunch has sandwiches.

Planet Hollywood is really bad. Slow service, really loud, bad food. You can get better burgers elsewhere. If they REALLY have the need to see Hollywood movie props it may be worth it but I would rather spend my money elsewhere.

House of Blues has some good food however I am ONLY talking about my experience from the one in Hollywood and at Disneylands downtown area. I have never eaten at the one at WDW.

Yachtsmans Steakhouse has good steaks and is a bit fancier.

Rose & Crown has a good prime rib at a good price.

California Grill has a good pork tenderloin.

http://allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm This is Debs site and it has menus from all the places that you can check out. It gives you an idea what they offer so your men can look at them ahead of time.

Good luck!
