Strange question but it is worth asking - DH and I have renewed APs that we renewed back in May and haven't unfortunately utilized for various health and weather related reasons.
Can you purchase these $35 per adult meal tickets without purchasing a package plan? I hope so since I figured we would save at least $25 per person per day if this was an option.
Thanks for any advice or info:)

Ok, now I am intrigued. We buy annual passes every year but I didn't think about buying a dining package. I'd be interested to hear. We have two sit downs lunch and dinner most days.

It sure would be nice wouldn't it? Even better would be the Disney Dining Experience that FL residents can do.

The info out there right now ties the dining addon with room and ticket packages. That has been the way it has been for some years now as well. We can all hope for a change though.

That definitely would be nice! However, I believe it's similar to how the silver/gold/platinum plan worked, as an add-on to a vacation package.

Also, here's info from Allears:

"Disney Dining Plan: Disney _hotel guests_ who want the convenience of a more-inclusive "cruise-style" vacation can purchase the "Magic Your Way" Package Plus Dining. For each night of their resort stay guests can enjoy two meals and a snack at more than 100 select restaurants throughout the Walt Disney World parks and hotels. "
