Do you have a minimum to meet on dining package bookings? Provided it isn't set menu of course. . . .

Wondering if I can just get an app at lunch with a drink?

The plans offer specific things. For ts ddp is entree, dessert, drink
Dxdp is app, entree, dessert and drink

You can skip a course but can’t add and no credit given

Did that answer your question?

Are you asking about the dining plans or are you asking about dining packages like F!, ROL, Candlelight?

Sorry wasn't clear - Dining packages like F!, RoL, Eat to the Beat, Etc . . . I will not be on the DDP for this trip so everything is OOP.

You pick from the regular menu, or the full buffet is included if you're at a buffet.

The only restricting issues I can think of are 1) lobster entrees are excluded where they are served and 2) Via Napoli allows an individual pizza as an entree, but package users can't pool their orders to get a larger pizza to share.

I am also not sure why you would want to pay full price for a dining package (not even on DDP) and then only order an appetizer and a drink. Those packages are expensive, they're about five times what an appetizer and a drink would normally cost. I am guessing you would be allowed to ask for less than the package allows, but there won't be any reduction in the price.

Thank you! I did some more digging and found that my reservation is a $54 package with app, entree and dessert. I would rather eat at the booths for F&W but was hoping to get seating out of this. It's not worth the price and I will just plan on camping out for Eat to the Beat early. Disney didn't give me a price or requirement upon booking and I've never done one of these without the DDP so wasn't sure about the price.
