We will probably eat a couple meals at the resorts or citywalk but are there any family restaurants nearby that aren't too expensive? We will have a rental car but don't want to have to drive too far.

Mall at Millenia has a PF Changs and a Cheesecake Factory.

I was wondering the same thing. We are staying on site but can't afford to spend a fortune on food.

Looking at the Lynx bus routes map, there's a public bus stop at the Universal Parking Garage, serviced by the #21, 37 & 40 bus lines. Does anyone know how difficult it is to get from the parks to area restaurants on these lines? How much time is needed, if you don't have a car? Which line is most convenient? TIA! :)

Is doing the meal deal with citywalk an option? That way you could eat all you wanted in the park and go to citywalk resturant for dinner. The price is 25.00 adult 12.99 kid. We will be doing that at least 2 days we are there as I think 100.00 a day to feed a family of 5 is pretty good deal.

I was wondering about the Brazilian steak place on International drive. I am afraid it is very expensive because they don t show prices on their web site.Has any one eaten there?

You are talking about Texas de Brazil. Great restaurant. It's on the expensive side. But, if you go to their website you can join their club and recieve discounts via email.
Last year recieved a 50% off discount for our anniversary. The regular cost was something like $45pp. The only catch is if you are dining with children you can not get the discount for them. But, they are already half price.

The meal was very nice. All of the meats were great but the filet mignon wrapped in bacon is by far my favorite. The salad bar which is much more than a salad bar consist of rice, beans, soups, sushi, potatoes, fruit, and much more. The drinks were good too.

In a nut shell it was well worth it.

The place looks great I don t quite get the concept from the website though.Do you order one steak or do they bring those skewers around to the tables for you to sample different cuts of meat?

It's basically an all you care to eat restaurant. You are given a card with both a red and green side. When you turn your card to the green side the men (servers) begin to bring all the diffrent cuts of meat to you. I believe there is atleast 10 diffrent kinds. But, if you go make sure that you save room for the filet mignon wrapped in bacon. When you are full or just need a little break just turn your card over to the red side, and they will stop coming to bring meat. And remember that you get a card for each person.

Hope this helps, and if you decide to go, have fun for me.

This sounds wonderful does anyone know what the cost is. I did not see it on the website.
