We are going to WDW in September, and we are splitting our stay, so 4 days at POFQ with free dining, and 4 days at Polynesian without free dining (the room discount was a better deal.)
So I'm trying to figure out which restaurants would be best for our off-plan dining. We are willing to eat counter service for the second half of our trip but it would be nice to have a couple of ADR's anyway. We like to do a couple of character breakfasts on every trip, and right now I'm thinking that would be a good plan for our pay-as-we-eat days.
Any suggestions?

I had also thrown the split stay idea around, and I was going to do the buffets or the family serving meals for the no-dining plan part. It was easier to figure up costs, than to say "I bet I'll order...or DH will order". Crystal Palace, Donald's Breakfast at Tusker House, Biergarten, Garden Grill for dinner, Chef Mickey's, and the WCC skillet were all ones I considered. Also cheaper meals like the Plaza and Sci-Fi or 50's PTC. HTH!:goodvibes
