Dining-Le Cellier or California grill

We went to Le Cellier about a year ago, and I was completely unimpressed. It was nice and the food was good, but there was absolutely nothing special about it, and the menu was extremely limited.
Maybe my expectations are too high, and maybe the typical Epcot dinner guest wouldn't appreciate the costs of prime steaks, but that's what I'd expect from a signature Disney steak house and it just wasn't there.
Personally, I can't imagine going back, simply because far more interesting venues abound.

I have similar feelings... Thought it was nothing special and that you can go to a number of better restaurants at Disney.

I am someone who much prefers Le Cellier to Cali Grill. I can enjoy the fireworks from TOTW! I find Cali Grill to be very noisy. I ate there last in October, plus, I did not think our server was particularly good or friendly.

LOL. At Cali Grill I was not seated so close to tables on both sides I could here every word of their conversation. So for me Le Cellier was much noisier

I have had a good time at Le Cellier. We did California Grill 12/1/13 and found it a little lacking. Good, but not great and not as good as I recall. The view is spectacular - so I suggest doing it just for dessert.

This trip we did Fulton's, Citricos, California Grill and Yachtman Steakhouse. Best food and service by far was Yachtman.
