Dining for 14 days

We are booking 14 days but we only can book 10 and 4, we are getting 10 day tickets. Will we be able to use the dining credits only for the first 10 days or for the 14 day period? I know the tickets are good for 14 days.

The credits are good only for the duration of the specific package they're booked for. You'd get 10 nights of credits which would expire at midnight of the day you end that reservation -- they would not carry over into other days.

I don't see why you can't have a 14-day reservation, though. MYW tickets max out at 10 days, but resort bookings can be for 14...

15 days/14 nights/1 reservation/10 day ticket

.... well actually, we'll be going to MNSSHP and using a heavily discounted ticket for my mom and free ticket for me because of the EEC, so we'll have 12 days of park going!

Why are you only booking 10 & 4? What do you mean by that? Ten day stay & than four day stay? Or ten day tickets? Your DDP is not tied into your tickets, but to your stay so you should have 14 days DDP. We are there twelve nights so we have twelve days of DDP but only a ten day park pass.

We will be there during free dining and you can only have 10 free days of dining, unless I'm wrong?

And, we thought you have to book 10 and 4 for a 14 day stay?

I was able to book 14 days of free dining on-line (8/29-9/12) I thought 14 days was the maximum.

I think you've misunderstood how the free dining works!! Many of us have more than 10 days Free DDP! You should call DW & get your reservation straightened out before the deal fills up! Good luck!

Also I don't know how your ticket situation works out but an annual pass tends to break even for stays longer than 10days. You can just add a 1day base ticket to your package then upgrade to an annual pass at the gate for the price difference. Your ticket length on the package just has to be 1 day, not length of stay.

just go book on the Disney website -- it will let you put in 14 nights' worth. If you try for 15 it won't go, but 14 will work. I don't know why the site would say 1-10 anyway because for the Free Dining I believe there is a 3 night minimum stay required. The park ticket is 1-10 days (with minimum requirement of 1 day park ticket)

...but that is not the same as the dining plan, just about your park ticket.

that is so excellent...isn't this site wonderful...you almost missed out on 4 more days of free dining. Now it's time to start making your wish list (otherwise known as an ADR list)
