We just got back and our trip was great. All or our meals were very good. Here is our reviews:
San Angel Inn: I had the Ceviche, the Plato Mexicano, and the Vanilla Flan. My husband had a salad, the Combinacion Cozumel, and the flan. We both loved the Ceviche, but it was spicy. And the flan was to die for! I am looking for the recipe....
Crystal Palace: The buffet was very good, and the kids loved the visits from Pooh and his friends. Be sure to check out both sides of the buffet, there were different things to try.
Hollywood and Vine: We took the Fantasmic Dinner package this time. Food was good but it was a little crowded. Nothing special, but it was a good meal overall.
Cape May Cafe: This meal was wonderful! I love clams and Mussels, and they kept them coming. The american side was also good, plenty of chicken, ribs, and pizza. We didn't like the Oreo Bonbons, however.
Chef Mickey's: Another great meal. We had breakfast, and we had a lot of fun. My son told them that we were celebrating my birthday and I got a cupcake and Minnie came out and we everyone sang Happy Birthday! We also had games and partied with Mickey's gang.
Coral Reef: Not sure why this place gets such bad reviews. The meal was very good, but I can't understand why they want your dessert order right away if you are on the Dining plan. The land and sea appetizer was a dissapointment, two shrimp and a small piece of meat on a skewer. Not much to look at. The Lobster Bisque was very good. My husband had the New york strip, I had the Alaskan King Crab Legs, and My DS12 had the Chicken Breast. We liked all of them. The Chocolate Wave was overwhelming with chocolate and fudge, but it was good. My husband had the Key Lime tart. He also surprised me with a souvenier menu and a Diver came down and brought a sign wishing me Happy Birthday! Overall a very memorable experience and I would reccomend it to anyone.
We had a very good week and came home to snow. Can't wait to do it all again in a few years.
