Dining before the MVMCP Question?

Making my November ADR and want to make a 6:55 PM reservation at Magic Kingdom...park hours show 9AM to 6PM then MVMCP is from 7PM to Midnight. I should be able to make that 6:55PM reservation even though I do not have ticket to the Christmas party that night correct?

No, absolutely not.

Your ADR must be in place before 6 PM and you must check in before 6. The park closes at 6 to regular guests, and while they will not swoop you out, at that time you will not be allowed to dine without a ticket.

It sounds like you want to make the most of your park hours so personally, I would plan dinner outside after 6 PM close.

Tony's and The Plaza (both right on Main St near the entrance to MK) and Skipper Canteen close at 7pm on party nights. If you can get a reservation at any of them between 6 and 7, you will be allowed to dine there, then be whisked out of the park after finishing...possibly out a back door off Main Street since there are parades and other party activities going on. Disney is pretty strict about private party activities being only for those with tickets.

Liberty Tree Tavern closes at 6pm on party days.

The restaurants that are open during the party like BoG, Crystal Palace, and CRT close reservations to non-party ticket holders at 5:55.

Thanks for responses. The plan was to eat at Tony's @ 6:55PM.
