We'd love to have dinner at the Rainforest Cafe (at AK?), but we don't want to see the AK park. We went through it last year and maybe it was too early, too hot or whatever... but we really weren't thrilled by it. Naturally, we'd rather not waste one of our passes for it, but my husband loved the Cafe.

Is there anyway to do this--legally.

Yes, there is an entrance to Rainforest Cafe separate from the park. But you could also go to the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney. We always hit one of them!

We ate at the AK Rainforest Cafe. Our PS were for 6:30, and we arrived as AK was closing. It was no big deal to enter, since the entrance is to the side of AK's gates. Once you're in the restaurant, you don't even know that AK is outside its doors.

IMHO I think the Rainforest Cafe in AK is better that DTD.

The entrance is outside of the theme park but unless you are a resort guest you may have to pay for parking at RFC in AK but not at DTD.
