So, this is my first official dining review. We didn't eat too many meals on Disney property, but I thought I'd share with you the ones we did.

I'll use a rating of  to    to sum up our dining experiences.

Sunday, May 6th: Had reservations at Le Cellier, which we ended up cancelling, as we didn't get into the parks on Sunday. I called to cancel our 8:50 ADR's and instead asked about Kona Cafe and Flying Fish. Kona's earliest reservation was at 9:40 and FF at 8:40. We ended up choosing FF and couldn't have been happier.

DH chose the Gulf Shrimp Cocktail appetizer, and I had the cheese plate. I didn't try the shrimp, but DH said they were great; the cheese plate was amazing! For $15, you got 5 cheeses and toasted fruit bread... well worth the price.

For dinner, I had the steak and DH had the lamb. This was the best meal of the week, hands down. Their wines were also very good; service was a little slow to start but wouldn't deter us from going back again. RATING:

Monday, May 7th: Counter service at Pecos Bill's in MK. Bought a Taco Salad & fries, and beefed it up at the toppings bar. If you don't know, they took the cheese sauce off the bar; they said they had a few "incidences" and had to remove it. Not sure what that means. Overall, it was pretty good for CS. RATING:

Dinner at ESPN - buffalo wings and french fries... always good. RATING

Tuesday, May 8th: Got lucky with a walk up to Le Cellier for lunch; arrived at 11:45 and was seated shortly after noon. This was another great meal. I had the cheese soup & 5oz. filet and DH had the tomato stack & NY Strip. Also worth the $$ and so glad we were able to visit here after having to cancel on Sunday night. RATING:

Dinner - back to ESPN for more wings and NE clam chowder. Went back after Fantasmic and shared a Corned Beef Reuben. Most of their sandwiches are really good, but the Rueben is the best. RATING:

Wednesday, May 9th: Went to Blizzard Beach and skipped lunch. Dinner at California Grill, ADR's for 6:10. Arrived by 5:30 and was seated immediately in the Wine Room. Great start so far. Even better, they offered a cheese plate (similar to FF), so I started off with that and DH got California Roll. Good start. Next was the Goat Cheese Ravioli for me and ??? for DH (sorry, I can't remember). These were also good, but not great. Main courses - Pork for me and Chicken for DH. We thought both were way overpriced and not outstanding as we would have expected. Overall, this was a bit disappointing, and I don't think we'll return. RATING:

Skip Thursday - we hung out at the pool all day and ate off-site for both lunch and dinner.

Friday, May 11th: This was our travel day (6:10pm flight), so we checked out of the room by 10:30 and went to Downtown Disney. Had lunch at the House of Blues, and it was pretty good overall. I had the mushroom pasta dish (a little spicy) and DH had the Shrimp Gumbo over Catfish. My dish was very flavorful but DH said his catfish was a little gamey. Walked over to the Raglan Road area, thinking it didn't open until 4pm (which it didn't the last time we were there), and it had been open since 11am! Apparently, they started opening for lunch after XMas last year. DH was a little disappointed, as he wanted to eat here before we left. Oh, well, just another reason to have to go back (as if we need one)! RATING:   and 1/2
