Jenseib, what are those candy-looking things that you took a photo of in the GF? They look really good, and something to maybe put on the list to grab when we go down.

we have decided against the delux dining because we are doing the delux hotel.
We figure that we will pay out of pocket if we do any extras, meaning snacks/treats.
How does the dining plan work?
Lets say we go out to eat, do we need to say before that we have the dining plan or do we wait till our bill comes?
Can we choose not to use our dining at the end of said dinner and just pay the bill that way if we plan to use an extra one for the hoop dee doo?

Thanks Jen.
Your my disney guru!

Is from the dinner? I'll have to go back and look. Or was it from the tea party?
She had finger sandwiches there and then they had gummies in the middle of the plate. Let me know which post number you are talking about and I'll look.

I told them we had the plan when I booked the ADR. For CRT they asked and I said yes, but we weren't using it for that one. I think sometimes we told them when we sat down, and sometimes not till we paid. But it really doesn;t matter. When they bring the bill you tell them that you are on the plan and any extas like alcohol is then paid for in cash. They will bring a reciept back with the plan stuff taken off and the cash amount left on it.

My apologies, they just looked so good, I lost my mind. :lmao:

:rotfl: Whoops! The labels were deceiving! But I love bath stuff too, so I will still remember these.

The do look good and to smell them is so wonderful! That store is really neat in there.

Loving your reviews....can't wait for more!!! I think I am adding 1900 Park Faire to my list this year. I have only eatin there for breakfast and that was when the Villians were around.

I have to agree with you, the picture of Claire with the flowers is priceless! You got that shot at just the right moment.
hugs, Karen

Villians would be cool. But I bet Claire wouldn't have like that too much. Which ones sued to be there?

Thanks.

I absolutely adored this review!! I'm trying to convince one of my engineers from work to take his 4 yr old daughter to WDW and I think this review did it!! Your daughter is precious!

Thank you. Have him read my trip report too. (link in my signature) I have alot of pictures there and more stuff that we did.

My DH and I agreed that this year was probably the best with Claire. She seemed to live the magic more. She really beleives the characters are who they are. Not some guy in a costume. And she was big enough to ride some different things and do some different things than past years.
All our trips have been wonderful, but this one just seemed the best. And it's amazing how she remembers stuff. She remembered where our room was last year, and when we first got to Pop and were dragging our suitcases to the room, she was looking around and pointing at stuff and saying "hey mom, look at that, do you rmeember that from last year" "theres the potatoe heads, I saw those last year". So it is a wonderful age to take them.
I also took my older DD right before her 5th. birthday many ytears ago. 9She is almost 17 now. And her eyes were just wide and full of excitement the whole time.

At AK I got a strawberry Daiquiri right before the parade. It was pretty good. I can’t remember the price, but it was a lot. I would say $7-9? Nice drink on a really hot day! I think DH had a beer or 2. Claire had a Capri sun during the parade and then we got her another drink after. I’m thinking lemonade. She really wanted to taste my “slush” as she called it. She even picked it up and had her lips to it once. Luckily I caught her before she drank! :scared1:

After the parade we did some ride and the Lion King show. After the show Claire was starving so we headed over to Pizzafari.

Claire got spaghetti and meatballs, grapes, applesauce and a sprite.

I got the Hot Italian Style Sandwich with or Chips - Turkey, ham, Swiss and Provolone Cheese topped with Caesar salad and pesto marinated tomatoes.

I also got a diet Coke and ordered a chocolate cake. But I never realized till later that night that I never actually received the chocolate cake. Now I’m the IDIOT! I should’ve doubled checked. :headache: UGH! :sad2: I had ordered it thinking I would eat it as a snack later on. :confused3

I thought the sandwich was really good. Claire enjoyed her spaghetti and ate quite a bit and then DH finished it off. The portion’s were huge. We saved the grapes for later on.

We used 2 CS credits. I didn’t write down the total, but according to Allears the prices were
Sandwich~ $8.79
Spaghetti~ $4.99
Cake~ $3.59
Sprite~$2.19
Diet Coke ~ $2.49
All plus tax.

Later in the evening, Skip was hungry so he went and got some food. Again, no picture. I never even saw it.
He said he got some sort of Asian sandwich, which I think from what he described was the Turkey Ciabatta . And a carrot cake. He also got chips for Claire.
I think he got some juice or lemonade too, but I can’t remember now.
The sandwich was $6.99
The cake was probably $3.59. Not sure on the chips or drink. All prices plus tax.
I think he used 1 CS credit and 1 snack.

And that was the end of Day 4’s Dining Adventure!

The way she is eating the Spaghetti makes me wanna have some :rotfl2: it looks delicious. I love the picture with Simba. :hug:Too bad about the chocolate cake that happened to me too. :headache:

I'm loving and enjoying your reports so much!! They are awesome, you're doing such an amazing job!!! :thumbsup2
