I'm sorry, as this question probably seems stupid to a lot of you, but what is a DING???

DING is a special rate program (for lack of a better word) that you have to download, at the SW site. When they offer one of the DING fares, your computer will actually ding...well, it will if you have your speakers on!
Then you can click on it, and get yourself some terrific fares. But, they go fast and are available for a very limited time only.

It's a program you can download fromn Southwest airline, that "dings" when there is cheap one way tickets to and from different airports.
