I looking to book the Chef's Table at Victoria and Albert's for mine and DH wedding anniversary next year. It's not cheap but it looks soooooooo worth it
i didn't do the chef's table, but i thought the regular V&A was worth every penny i paid...
i didn't know what to expect, especially since it's a tasting menu, but it was spectacular...every morsel..
i took one of the podcasters (if you ever listen to the disunplugged podcast)..
she had the regular menu and i had a vegetarian menu...which means that she had some choices for each course, whereas, my menu was fixed.....
i think i remember her saying on the show that she liked it, but i can't speak for her...
i can only say that everything i had was indescribably delicious (and i'm not all that easily pleased)...
true the servings were very small, as is the norm with a tasting menu, but i certainly felt full by the end..
and every bite was truly wonderful...
and the service was impeccable..
i would eat there again in a heartbeat..
i'd love to eat there with DH for our 35th in a few weeks, but it's not to be...perhaps next time!!
