Can anyone tell me how much one-day entry to the WDW parks is, please - and is there any way you can buy a 1 day pass that allows park hopping?

DH and I have park hopper passes from last year with 2 unused days BUT, the plan I have come up with is for 3 days at WDW.

Now, we know that we will most likely be going back again next year so do we buy 4 or 5 day MYW passes (with no expiry option) and save the unused days for next year?

Or, do we use the 2 unused days on our existing hoppers and just pay separate entry for the 3rd day?

Advice welcome please :confused3

Hi

According to the Disney ticket website a 1 day park hopper is $94.75 this is not including tax.
Have a look Here for more info.

Would definitely get the MYW tickets.
We go on the 22nd and have 2 unused hopper tickets plus 2 water parks also.
Like you say though we will be going again, so the best one for us is the 10 day + 5 additional parks 'Premium' ticket, which should last us a few holidays I reckon.

As we are staying in Kissimmee we will buy from MapleLeaftickets on the 192, their prices are very good.

I'm pretty sure you can still trade in the unused portion of your existing hopper against new tickets.

Thanks for that Deb - I am still a little confused, though, as we have 2 days and 2 'plus' visits unused on our old park hopper and AllEars suggests that you only get dollar credit against the unused days, thereby 'losing' the plus options. It's a shame there's no way of finding out what dollar credit you would get against the ticket beforehand as this might make it easier to make the decision. For example, the 10 day premium (no expiry) is sold by Disney (gate price) at $410ish. From ticketmania.com, this pass bought in advance is only $373. So, unless, we got more than $47 dollars credit for the pass, it wouldn't be worth it to us (does that make sense).

OK, so another question (to anyone who may know), is there any way to find out in advance how much the unused days on your old hopper are worth?

Wilma, I think the only way to find out about unused days is at WDW itself I'm afraid.

In fact I am taking a load over tomorrow to check some friends' tickets !

Wish I'd known Miffy - you could have checked mine for me ;)

To be honest, having checked out some prices, I can buy 10 day premium MYW with no expiry for $337 each from Ticketmania. The gate price is $413 for the same tickets so, unless the unused hoppers are worth more than $80 it's not really gonna be worth it. We may as well keep them and use the extra days.

We had the same problem as yourself a few weeks ago. We simply used the old tickets up and then purchased a 1 day pass for MK. At the TTC, the CM asked if we had existing tickets cos she could have upgraded them and that would have been cheaper than buying new tickets.

Unfortunately, we didn't have them with us and ended up paying around $250 for 4 day tickets (kids are 13 and 11).

Might be worthwhile checking at the ticket office on your first day at the parks but would arrive early so that you don't waste time after opening. Alterntively, you can try Guest Relations at DTD the night before.

Thanks Garry - am thinking we might try DTD as we don't plan on visiting WDW in teh first couple of days anyway, so will have time to go down that route.

Cheers for the advice everyone :)
