HI,

I hope can get some words of wisdom here. I am taking a group of people to F&W Oct 19-23. The main reason is my friend is turning 65 and never has been to Disney and she wants to go. Now I have a 2 bedroom dedicated BCV room reserved. I, as many have had hoped, the BCV would be remolded by now. Well they are not. And yes I am one of those people that go on vacation to Disney 2-3 times a year and my friends tease me. I have been reading terrible things about the rooms. I want my friends to see the bet of Disney. Should I waitlist BWV? I'm so scared on what I should do for my friend.

It may or may not matter, but age would make me more concerned about the long hallways of BWV.

And not all of BWV has been renovated yet.

I think you'll be fine but if your having doubts might as well put in a waitlist. It's unlikely to fill but you never know. BWV was refurbed 6 years ago so it's still ahead of the BCV. But while some rooms at BCV sound like they have some big problems there are also reports of other rooms being fine. Can't get around the hallways though, those look tough and have for awhile. If having the bedroom with 2 beds is important though you should just stay at BCV IMO.

Over 65, love SAB, and am keeping my 2 bedroom 2 queen bed villa for F&G next year!

The chance of getting a move at this point, for those dates is probably next to impossible. Just hope for the best.

I'll be there the same week, at BCV, and I have no desire to change resorts. I'm only 2 years from age 65, and I agree-BCV avoids long hallways. BTW, happy birthday to your friend. I'd better see that "Happy Birthday" button in a couple weeks.

HOPE TO SEE YOU in the halls. I'm the red head .

I agree keep BCV. My mom is a little older than 65. We stayed at BLT. I was concerned that she would get lost with the long hallways at BLT and requested a room near the elevator for that reason. Maybe a little overprotective, but the long hallways at BWV are a pain at the end of the day. BCv is a lot easier to navigate.

Not quite 65, and have 2 years to go. I will be doing a split stay at BCV and Boardwalk starting Oct 30. Not worried about either one just so long as they are clean.

I'll be asking for 4th floor near tennis courts so that I can go out the door to my car. Up the stairs, yes. I'm going to do it as long as I can.
