This will be our first WDW trip with our digital camera...bought it right after last year's trip.. :sad2: We used it in Vegas and loved it. DH always has it with him! My question is, do those of you who use a digital also bring your 35mm camera and take some shots with it also??? I'm not sure what I want to do. We have a very nice 35mm...but is it worth it just incase????

Also...do they have the places up and running at parks and or resorts where you can put your digital onto a CD???

Thanks!

I have both a digital and a 35 mm. Here is why I like the digital: if you mess up a shot (or someone accidently walks in front of the camera when you go to take a picture), then with the digital you can just delete the shot and try again.

I would have wasted soooo much film on my last trip to WDW had I used my 35 mm cameral. I was also able to immediately see the shots I took to make sure what I thought I took, I did. :flower:

I don't know about the cd - we take a laptop and transfer pictures to it.

Nope, we just take the digital. I love knowing whether or not a picture turned out so I can delete and re-take if necessary, love being able to fiddle with the pictures' color and brightness before I upload to ofoto, love being able to quickly share pictures with family and love not messing around with getting the film developed.

We took both cameras on our first trip after getting the digital one, but after about the second day I ended up leaving the 35mm back at the hotel - it was SO nice using the digital and being able to preview the pictures! Actually that trip was probably the last time I used the 35mm camera. :)

I'm also a digital lover. I take way more pics than I probably need, but it is one of my favorite things to do at the world. I believe the camera places at each park will put your photos onto CD, but haven't use the service, so I can't say for sure. Someone one these boards suggesting two (or more) 128 memory cards instead of a larger capapcity one, like a 256. that way is something goes awary you haven't lost everything. That is what I did last time and it worked out well.
I am also a member of the "don't carry much stuff into the parks" club and two cameras would be one too many for me!

Enjoy taking those pics!!

Nope, just digital. This year I got a new digital camera that I've been playing with and I can't wait to take lots of nighttime pics - something my old one didn't do too well on.

I take way too many pics to be on 35mm... 150-200 per day average would kill me on film and processing costs alone.

I bring both. I use my 35mm for some of the nicer pictures. I use my digital for everything. Especially for subjects that I wouldn't necessarily want to waste photo paper for. (ie. upclose detail photos)
