just wanted to say I love your layout! I went to your blog and got some freebies...thank you... and now I think I'm totally addicted to digi scapbooking!!!
I am so glad you posted!!!! You should not be nervous at all. That is an awesome pic of the giraffe. I do love your layouts. You have some very creative elements. I hope you post more layouts as you get them done...Thanks so much for the comments, I was really nervous about posting anything.

Thank you! As per programs....I use Paint Shop Pro X (I don't use Wordperfect or their spreadsheet program so I can't comment on them...I use MS Office for those functions) Anyway, I have been very happy with Paint Shop but I think if I had to pick a program over again I would choose Photoshop Elements. There just seems to be many more tutorials and info on this program. Don't get me wrong, their is alot for Paint Shop and I am happy with it so far...I love the re-worked pages! I think it looks great to highlight each of the characters on their own pages. I think when the kids look back on them they will enjoy each of the pictures more. Great job! I need to get going and decide which software I am going to upgrade. I am having trouble choosing Corel Paint shop because I don't like their wordperfect or spreadsheet programs. Don't like is not a strong enough word. I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars for a program either though. Until I decide I will keep enjoying these awesome pages that you guys are kicking out. Way to go!!!
Here is a new layout that I just finished. I may change the picture to one from our cruise and use it in my cruise album....

Kelly, thank you!!! I would have never been able to make that border if not for your wonderful willingness to share!!! Thank you for designing all those mickey heads to begin with. I actually scraplifted the entire page. There are alot of digital Disney designs on E-bay and I saw one that inspired me to create the page. I also like the new MGM pages you posted. It is good to see you back!!!Lisa - I would have never thought to use the mickey heads as a border like that. Looks great and I will steal the idea LOL
Nice job as always!
Hi Jessica - It is actually two elements. The Mickey Brad and the Ribbon with the button are two different elements that I merged together. I basically did the same thing you do with the paper clip where you 'erased' part of the image. In PSPX there is a neat way to erase things so you can easily correct your mistakes in case you erase too much. It is called Masking a layer. You should look for some tutorials on Masking since it is a REALLY helpful thing to know. If you can't find anything on it, PM me and I will try to expain it to you...Great page...I hope you don't mind me asking you another question...the ribbon that is with the Mickey brad...is that one element? It looks that way and I am wondering how you got part of it over the brad and the rest of it under? I have seen in PSPX where you can arrange things to be on top or bottom but haven't figured out how to use items in both places. The layout I am doing now, I am using paperclips but I erased part of the image to make it look like part of the paperclip is under the pictures. (I hope that made sense) =)
Thanks,
Jessica
