Digital Scrapbooks

I'm new here so bear with me if I'm redundantly asking a question or in the wrong place.

Has anyone done a digital scrapbook swap? It seems like this would be the easiest way to do swap as there would be no postage.

I always scan my pages and save them to my external hardrive I have dedicated to pics! I would love to take part in one of these!

I'd definately be up for that! I have trouble joining in swaps as I'd have to post stuff to the USA which adds up a lot of postage costs so this would be perfect!

Hey! I'm semi-new to the boards, I've been reading them for a while but just recently joined. And I just found this board today and I was wondering what is a digital scrapbook swap?? I love scrapbooking and so I love this board already lol

to try this too...I have recently started digital scrapping, and think this would be cool....I haven't done any of my disney pics digitally yet. What if we developed one/several Disney "ploppers", you know the pages that are done in advance, and then you add your pictures and embellishments. I use paint shop pro 8 for my digital scrapping, but have been able to use .png files (that also work in photoshop). I will be watching for details and new ideas. MaryAunt

I'm getting the details together for the swap- but even people who dont want to make a digital page can take part. They can just mail me a page and I will use my flat bed to scan them! I'm going to start with a digital recipe swap- one where you make and decorate a page with a fave recipe- and you can email it to me or mail it. I will scan the maile dcopies and put them all together for everyone in a digital booklet. Then people can print them thmenselves on whatever paper they like or they can use it digitally! I'm not sure I'm the best to answer this, but here goes. Digital scrapbooking is you do your scrapbooking on the computer using some form of software. After that you can share your pages electronically, create electronic albums for viewing online or print out your pages (either your self or through mypublisher.com) so you have them in a book. This site also has some GREAT examples and some freebies to download to use for anyone getting started.
