Well I am about ready to scream, in fact I have!!
We figured out how to transfer our pictures from our camera to our laptop.
Now we would like to edit them using Kodak software before we put them on a disk.
We can not figure out how to move them from the folder they are in to our Kodak software program to edit them.
I dont know if any of this makes sense to you all but any information about editing them (how to) would be appreciated.
We are suppose to edit them before we save them to a disk right?? And then do we mail the disk somewhere to have them developed??

Any help AGAIN is appreciated

Did you go right into the program to download the pictures there? My computer automatically asks me where I want to download the pictures to.
Also, you should be able to browse for your pictures through a search engine right in the kodak program. Some picutre editing programs even have the option of ensuring that all photos are accessible through their program - does that make sense?
I don't know if I helped, but hopefully it all works out.

Sorry I cant help you with the Kodak stuff. My brother has that system and when I used it, I downloaded the pics to my pictures, and used a seperate editing program (came with the computer) to fix them up. You dont need to mail the disk anywhere. If using a floppy, you might not get many pics on it. I use a cd-rw (a cd that can be recoreded over and over like a cassette tape). Take the disk to any Walmart, Walgreens, drugstore that has a digital printing machine. Some stores have machines where you can put in the cameras memory card and print from it/burn to cd. You can even edit the pics on it, but if you have a lot to do, dont do it there as it is time consuming and others may be waiting. You put the disk into the machine, follow the directions, and you will have your prints. You could also give the disk to the people and have them print them, but it takes longer.

On our digital camera when I plug the camera into the port, I always go to Explorer (mouse right click on START) and find the camera folder. Then I can edit there or move them to a folder that I have created for specific pictures.

As for saving to a disk and taking to develop, you may want to try developing the pictures on line. I have been using www.ofoto.com and it is a Kodak processing. I have been very pleased with it. Just upload to Ofoto and use your credit card to pay. The arrive in your mail box in just 3 or 4 days. I love doing it that way!
