Digital Cameras through security at the airport

Can digi cameras go through Xray without any issues? I will have mine in my carry on bag. I am assuming since there is no film it's not a big deal -but don't want to get to Disney and have a non working camera!!!!!

There is no problem taking digital cameras through the X-ray machines at the airport. At least as long as the security people don't mistreat the camera.

I've taken my digital camera in my carry-on luggage a few times and never had any problems. My pictures all turned out great and it was wonderful not having to deal with film!!!!

When I went through security last month, They let my camera go through, but made me take my video camer out of the bag. ???????Dont know why
