I have a new laptop that I could devote to scrapping. Can anyone tell me pros and cons on laptop vs. PC? I am not a computer whiz by any means and just would like some ideas. Thanks!!

You can basically do the same thing - your biggest issue will be with monitor resolution/brightness/size. These days people are typically using a large-ish flat panel monitor on their desktop PCs. Your laptop monitor will be smaller.

For me, it is difficult to fully calibrate my laptop monitor. On my desktop, I have my monitor adjusted (calibrated) exactly to match the way my photo lab prints. This is great because it enables me to see images exactly the same as they will look printed. For me, this is very important, since I am photographing for clients. But, it also matters in my digi-scrapping - it's WYSIWYG - it looks the way I want it to look.

However, I am being nit-picky - because I still have a lovely image on my laptop monitor.

Things to consider - digi-scrap elements take up a lot of space. I would consider buying yourself an external hard-drive that you can use via USB port on either laptop or desktop to store your elements.

I think you will love the flexibility of being able to digi scrap any time, any where!
