ScrapMatters is turning 1 and having a birthday sale with almost everything 30%!!! Inquiring minds want to know, what did you get?

I love the birthday collab kit at SM!!! Its gorgeous. Can't wait to download it when I get home tonight. The other items I've gotten so far are Sya's grabbag because I really like her templates, Erica Zane's new kit, Ellie's halloween kit "boo", and her happy paper bundle. And Britt's Grabbag is AWESOME!!! I will probably go back at some point this weekend to buy more stuff.

Is anyone else having problems with the ScrapMatters site? It is working but pretty slow. I guess the sale is going well.

Yeah it took me about 3 hours last night to download all the stuff I got. Its because so many people are on trying to download, etc. I won 3 gift cards at the chat today so I got some more stuff. I got Matahati's and Sya's collab kit, Family Matters. I can't get the alpha file to download right though. I've been really happy so far with all the purchases I've made. I have no idea how I'm going to use it all! LOL

Thanks SO much to Melissa for the 30%off code for Ellie, I got a lot more of her stuff than I originally planned. I got her Halloween kit, Halloween word art, an alpha, and her Hawaii kit (been wanting it for a while, finally couldn't turn it down!) Got Jeni Hopewell's Halloween kit (as I wrote in another thread, I'm going to be a sucker for Halloween stuff for a while!) and Erica Zane's gorgeous new kit. From Britt I got her grab bag, 2 alphas, Fairchild (I was Snow White at the Halloween party, so I HAD to get this one!), We Can Fly (had one of my best character interactions ever with Peter Pan this trip, so I had to get this kit, too!), and Pirate kit (kept putting it off, got a zillion pics of Jack in the parade, so took that as a sign to buy this one, too.)

Think that's it. Actually, that's enough, lol!!

janette-Yea, the site always seems to be slow during big sales like this. The downloads are really slow except at weird times. Just keep trying, and as long as you buy your stuff during the sale, you can download it after this weekend when it won't be as slow.

Oh my, you were bad! You will love Fairchild and Shiver Me Timbers. Erica's new kit is gorgeous. I'm pretty sure I'm going to use it for the layout I'm working on right now. I will say that I got Ellie's Halloween one because I loved the cat and the ghosts in it. I don't have a whole lot of Halloween pictures, but I couldn't pass it up with such a good sale going on. Which alphas did you get by Britt?

I got Britt's grab bag, Motor Mania kit, and a couple of alphas. I might get Ellie's Boo kit, too. I have my eye on some Halloween kits at Sweet Shoppe, too. I am totally addicted to Halloween stuff right now, too! I really want to scrap my party pictures ASAP, but I don't want to start without seeing what Britt is going to come out with!!

Thanks for telling me about SM being slow for everyone -- I thought it was my computer!

I got the You've Got a Friend in Me combo, Motor Mania, Tiny Cowgirl, Britt's grabbag, Jeni Hopewell's grabbag, some templates from Erica Zane, Sya's Blueprints grabbag, Jenlin's grabbag (beautiful stuff!), and Happy Scrap Girl's grabbag. With all this talk about Ellie Lash's stuff, I'm going to have to go check it out because I love her stuff. But I don't know if I'll buy anymore because I'm so frustrated with how long the downloads take.

I would wait but I'm trying to download Britt's grab bag so I can get the paper Melissa used. I think it will work for something I'm working on. Maybe the download will work this time, it timed out earlier.

I'll probably wait on some of the other downloads; I still have a few things I wanted but no plans to use right away.

I tried chat today but it froze up too; I can't get to the daily download but those are usually there for a few days.
