Differences in National Codes

I can't believe it...I have a car reserved 7/17-7/22 for about $186 with National. I am always looking for lower price. ( I know Budget is lower but I love picking out my own car and it's my honeymoon/wedding....go for it!)

ANYWAY...thought I would try the Amex code (5125601). Well the original quote is $468 before discounts!!!! Does that mean that there are people out there who don't look around?! UNREAL!
