Differences between Yak and Yeti TS and CS

Is the Yak and Yeti CS food the same as the TS?

The food is the same, cooked in the same kitchen (at least that is what the CM working there told us). The biggest difference is that the CS menu is extremely limited. Both places offer huge portions at outrageous OOP prices, but probably a good value on the DDP.

Yes, it is on DDP but does not accept the TIW card.

Also, the seating for the CS is not great. It's been a year since we did CS there but the seating was limited and out in the full sun (HOT).

When we eat at the CS, I take our food and backtrack back to the outdoor seating around flametree, it is a short walk, and much cooler and lots more tables. The CS food is plentiful and good, the mango tarts are great!

We Love the TS, the skirt steak and Shrimp is our FAV and usually go here twice. The Wonton and pineapple dessert is SOOOOOOO good!

In a nutshell, the CS is more like chinese takeout, and the sit down menu a little more creative and upscale, depending on what you choose. We eat at both places!

Well the food may be cooked in the same kitchen but I can certainly tell you the quality is not the same. I ate at the CS the first week of may and it was bogus! I had the honey chicken and the rice was a huge carton of mush! The chicken was not any better a tiny piece of chicken engulfed in a fried batter. I tossed it in the trash as fast as I could. This was at the height of lunch too so the quality should have been better. Last Sept I ate at the sit down resteraunt and it was the best meal of my trip! The food was incredible! Definately not the quality I recieved my last visit.

here is the difference the cs sucks really really horrible while the ts is amazing and my most loved wdw restaurant... I will never eat cs for yak and yeti ever again

We have done the CS once and the TS twice and I found the quality to be about the same, mediocre Chinese takeout quality food. First time at TS I tried the lo mein which was edible but not good and the second time it was the pho which was absolutely inedible. The chicken salad I had at my CS meal was about what I'd expect at a CS meal at an amusement park.
