I want to get my tickets ordered today before the $79.99 disappears. My youngest dd will turn 9 the Friday before we leave. What is the difference in the adult and child ticket since they are the same price? Should I just buy us all the same tickets? Thanks!

you should be able to get her a child ticket cause I think it is 10 and up are adult tickets :thumbsup2

Child's ticket is for age 3-9 years old. 10 and up require adult.

OK...so no difference then? She is quite the grown up and I don't want her missing out on anything because she has a child ticket. Thanks!

She won't miss out on anything because of her age. The children's tickets do not require biometrics (fingerscan) when she enters. That is the only difference. Some of the rides have a height restriction but as long as she is tall enough, she can ride.

Great...I bought them at $79.99 and got the discount Sea World tickets so I think we have a plan. She may be upset that she doesn't have to do the biometrics but no biggie. I'll handle it when she happens. Thanks for the info!

its funny you say that your 9yo will be upset about the biometrics scan.

Last year when we went, the kids were 12, 7, 5....the 12 yo had to do it and when her 7yo little sis didn't have to - she was MAD:mad: because "why does she get to do it and I don't get to do it and blah, blah, blah"

This year older dd is going in first and younger dd is going into another line with me so I don't have to hear it :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Yes, my youngest dd can be quite the drama queen. In fact, I'm sure it will happen sometime on this trip. Maybe not witht the ticket though.
