Difference in a Navigator's Verandah and a Verandah??

Thank you for the info everyone!! Now I know what to expect!! :)

It was really an upgrade, as my original cabin only had a porthole window...with no verandah at all. ;)

Congrats, you've been Pixie Dusted! I had this verandah on last year's Wonder Thanksgiving cruise and I thought for the price it was just fine. PM with your email address and I can send you a picture.

Think of it as your own private deck with a open window to the sea!

We have a Navigator's Verandah booked on the Magic sailing 12/17 - how private are those verandahs?:rolleyes1

We just had the navigators verandah on the magic last week. I actually really enjoyed it!! We were on deck 5 aft which was perfect. we had breakfast out there in the morning and thats about it, we were too busy to use it as often as we would have liked too!!!

When I took my DCL Alaskan cruise the Navigator's Verandah was nice since I still had a balcony but it was enclosed. When I went on my DCL Bahamas cruise and was upgraded to a Verandah it was to have the open balcony. But a free upgrade is a free upgrade and a balcony is a balcony.
