What is the difference between these two rides? They basically seem like they're the same ride, are they?
In Buzz Lightyear you're shooting a laser at targets. Most times you have no idea what you're shooting at. You just see a bunch of random red dots all over the room with no idea which one's yours. Was probably cool when it first opened but these days it pales in comparison to Buzz Lightyear.
In Buzz Lightyear you're wearing 3d glasses and shorting different computer generated projectiles at different targets. Very entertaining and you know exactly which shots are yours. You actually feel like you have some control over your score.

In Buzz you are shooting with lasers and have no clue which is yours - frustrating and your hand gets tired (or mine does)I'm confused, which one is which?
Must learn to triple check posts when hopped up on cold medication. Post is fixed.I'm confused, which one is which?
With all that we enjoyed Buzz a lot more - maybe because the ride wasn't stopped every few feet for loading issues the way TSMM was and we never got the full effect? What should have been a?5-7 minute ride took nearly 20 minutes. And we never had to wait in line for Buzz- to ride over and over. for a kid who likes video games this was heaven to my son
we like Buzz better, too, because we can ride it so many times. Riding TSM is so much work, hahaha. Either wait forever or middle-of-the-night fastpass booking or getting to HS at the crack of dawn.Buzz? You can ride again and again and again!
you dont have to get up till midnight to book FP+ for TSMM. There is availability right now for tomorrow.
