If you can get a discount, like AP or something, it may be comparable in price to renting points, without the trust issue or lack of daily housekeeping. I just booked 9 nights directly through Disney for a 1br BCV for the beginning of June. It'll cost more, at about $500 per night, but I have control over the reservation (I'm debating still about exactly how many nights, but probably 9) and I won't worry if we change plans (I think the timeframe is more forgiving than renting points). If they come out with an AP discount, I'll buy AP's for me and the kids and plan another trip later in the year (that's how they get me!).
The washer/dryer and size, and kitchen convenience are the draw for me! I think you'll like that the twins could nap in their own room (if they need a nap in the room, my kids would do it in the stroller at Disney mostly). You can make snacks or meals if you want, and pack lightly and do wash every day in your own room.
