Diez (10) Noches Calientes en la Riviera Mexicana/17 de abril 2011 (4.17.11 Wonder!)

Has anyone checked the pricing for our cruise? My friends, family of four, were checking into joining us on this cruise and not only is the kids free promo no longer available, but the only stateroom that showed up was a 1 bedroom suite for $11,600!:scared1: Out of curiosity, I checked for my little family of 3 and the kids promo still works AND there's stateroom available from Cat 9 to Cat 4. Does anyone know why?
I've tried different combinations, too. I was looking for my friend, with 3 kids, and there wasn't a room (a LOW priced room) available. Same thing with my family of 4, no rooms and no kids free. But when I put in 2 adults and 1 kid, it gives room options. But did you see the price for the KSF for the 7 night Caribbean? Verandah room, 2 adults and 1 child, under $3k.

For all of you local to Disneyland, The World Of Disney, in Downtown Disney is selling a 2 piece child size luggage set, red, with handle and wheels for $10. Yes, you read it right $10!!! They have a decent size rolling suitcase and matching duffel bag, and it reads Disneyland Resort. It had previously been offered as a purchase with purchase for $39.95 Now, I know some of you are coming out between now and the holidays and if you really really want one of these sets, I may be able to pick up additional and hide them from DH in the garage. Send me a PM, QUICK before they are gone, if interested.http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/for/1889957284.html

It is for certain Bahamas and Caribbean sailings in January through March 5th. Wish we could go, but will be all maxed out for cruises as we are going on the Halloween Magic and then our South of the Border one in April!

Now that's a year of cruises I would love to experience! We are STILL second guessing going on this 10 day cruise but the price is so great, there is no way I want to cancel:)

That is SUCH a good deal!

Are the show times always the same? We have early dinner, at 5:45 pm, and I would like to know how much time we have before the show starts.

Thanks!

I believe the shows are at 8pm for the early Dinner seating. At least on the Magic last year, we had Main dining and we went in about 5:15 for seating at our table and generally did not get out of there until after 7pm.

I hope everyone has a fun and save Labor Day weekend. We are heading to Camp Sacramento, which is a family camp. It is kinda like a cruise ship for camping. They provide all the meals and activities. However the cabins are pretty rustic, just a light bulb and some beds. Even smaller then staterooms. We go every Labor Day and the kids love it. It is somewhat relaxing, but still hard with a 2 year old. This is our last trip until the cruise. The next 7 months is going to be saving and preparing for our trip. I have already started selling off a bunch of stuff of Craigs List for spending money on the cruise. I am hoping to make money for an excursion or 2.

Have a great weekend and I will "see" you all on Monday.

Thanks and have fun. Sounds like a great time. Our last weekend until school starts, for both of us! I've got tons to list on CL, for our 'vacation fund'. Hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend!
P.S. if you are so inclined, please say a prayer for my brother, who turned 47 yesterday, and was diagnosed with colon cancer last week. He has a young family (DD 7, DS 5) and will begin treatment immediately. Thanks to you all!

I'm so sorry to hear that - will be happy to say a prayer and send some positive thoughts his way.

Hello everyone,

Hope back to school went well and everyone had a nice Labor Day. We went camping and my husband actually said he is looking forward to the cruise, that it will be better than camping :cool1:

So I have a question regarding trip insurance. We have never gotten it, but of course will get it for this trip. I have read threads on the main board about different companies and I have bookmarked a few. Any companies that you guys would recommend? I have seen a couple that kids are free and covered under the adults, that is a policy we would prefer.

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. I am planning on buying it before the PIF date.

 We sooo LOVE camping! :cloud9:

I am curious about this too...I have checked the pricing on insuremytrip.com and didn't know any covered the KSF. Good to know. :thumbsup2 I know someone will know which ones.

School started yesterday for DD and today for me. I have a really big Special Ed. class. It's going to be a L-O-N-G wait until Spring!:headache:

I'm wondering about trip insurance also. We have always had insurance through Disney (currently have it booked for this cruise also) but I think I am going to find something else. From what I've seen it is A LOT cheaper!
