Tiggerific - It makes me feel good that you are already feeling comfortable with us. We are here to be supportive through the good times and the bad. We all go through those issues at one point or another. The important thing to remember is that you are not alone. It is always easier to keep going when you know someone else is or has gone through it.
BlondeAlligator - I am sorry that you have been sick. Yet, I am glad that you are starting to feel better. I was getting concerned about you realizing that you hadn't posted all week. I knew something was up. I was just hoping that you weren't ill. Well, I guess I was wrong but at least you are getting better. That's the good news. You are on the comeback trail and I know you will be back to 100% very soon. Just take the time you need to make sure you are well. You will hurt yourself worse if you try to get back into the routine before you are ready.
Kidsmom - You had made a mention about you had dropped the weight and increased the reps to around 30. I really believe that is too many reps. I know the goal is to tone and lose weight but doing that many reps is really counterproductive. Even in toning, you need to work the muscle some and doing that many reps means you are not doing that. For toning, I would really recommend no more than 15 - 20 reps but you want to make sure you feel at least some sort of burn. In other words, it doesn't need to be an easy lift for all of the reps. Plus, another way to look at things would be that muscle burns more calories than fat. So if you do put on some muscle, that is not a bad thing. It isn't always about what the scale says. Think about lionqueen. She has lost 38 pounds since she started her diet and exercise but then she had a test done and the results were totally different. I want to say that she had lost over 50 pounds of fat. That means she had gained 12 pounds of muscle. That muscle is helping to increase her metabolism which is going to continue in helping with the weight loss. The best idea is to not always go by what the scale says. Go by how your clothes fit. I hope that helps and makes sense.
Keep on moving people! You are doing great and I am extremely proud to be associated with such winners like each and everyone of you. Keep it up!

. Anyway, we will be @ OKW. I can let you know our itinerary and see if we'll be in the same place one day. I know it's probably a pipe dream, but just wanted to throw it out.
)and then I picture myself coming into the picture to congratulate you in person for the hardwork and dedication that you all have. I know I will never have a bodybuilder's body or a cover model's body but I do want to try to look good enough so if I want to get in the pool with my DD, I won't feel self-conscious. So I know that I have said it 100 times but I will say it again, Thank you very much for keeping me focused and motivated. You are helping me stay away from the foods that I don't need to eat.
Hi everybody! This is my first post here. I joined WW 4/20 with my mother-in-law. My goal is to lose 60 lbs before our annual disney trip the week after thanksgiving. I used to be so skinny, and I never appreciated it before...so I always say that this time, when I lose the weight, I will not be taking it for granted...so it will be a learning thing! You are all an inspiration with your weight loss, I only hope that I can do as well as you!! Wish me luck -- I'm sure I will need it!!
Hope everyone is staying on track and keeping their eyes on the prize! I'll be taking some pictures especially for all of you and share them when I get back. I will be thinking of all of you while I'm there. Have a great day!!
But a rainy day in WDW is better than nothing! As for my diet I have stayed at 159lbs this week, havn't lost anymore but at least I havn't gained! I am ok with that. I will work hard this weekend, but come monday THE DIET IS OFF!

going wacko with life and schedules and I will fill you all in later.....i.e. my sis being evacuted in Andover, MA by boat when her brand new condo was filled with water from all the storms we have had....ahhh!! AND more M&D not getting up the Maine Turnpike because of flooding highways. Then off to Graduation in RI...the list goes onnnnnnnnnnnnn!!
