Diet Coke Splenda

Has diet coke with splenda even gone on sale yet?

It hasn't here in the west. I did get the press release on it at work, and I thought the rollout wasn't until September......but that could also mean that they hope to have it available nationally by September.

I drink Diet Riet because Nutrasweet gives me a headache and makes me irritable. I used to drink Diet R/C but it isn't available locally anymore.

We have it in Jersey. I tried it and thought it tasted very different from Diet Coke.... sweeter I guess. The jury is still out on it. At least it will shut up my MiL (whoops! was that out loud? )

It is hear in San Jose, California. I bought it at the Cosentino Market here. They only had it in the 2 liter size, but it is definitely in California. I found it hard to find just because there are SO many types of Coke now. (with lemon, diet, etc.)

Did my grocery shopping this afternoon and found it on the shelf.
It does taste more like Pepsi than Coke, but it passes two important tests for me:
1) No Nutrasweet
2) It has caffeine (I work graveyard)

I tried it yesterday and LOVE it. I'm a former regular Pepsi lover. I find it much better than diet Rite. I love these boards. I didn't even know they had it until I read it here. Thanks!!!

OP - if you are taking it on board with you, why not take a can/bottle to dinner with you. No one would complain if you need it for dietary purposes. It's not like they would be charging you for soda and you are bringing your own to avoid paying since the soda is free at dinner. It's your cruise, enjoy it!

I just found the Diet Coke with Splenda this weekend in the grocery store. I gave up my favorite Diet Coke about 1 year ago when found it made me incredibly irritable -- like PMS all the time -- in addition to some of the reported side effects on the FDA website. I'm sure it was the aspertame (guess I am controlled by news media reports). Since then I've been drinking iced tea w/no sweetner or Diet RC.

I've been through 2 cans so far, do not initially like the taste, but hoping it will grow on me. Initially I didn't think Diet RC tasted all that great either. I also heard there was a pepsi product with Splenda - has anyone tried that yet?

the only one I have found so far has a combo of aspartame and splenda so I didn't try it.
