Didn't realize Concourse was so popular...

I've been there a couple times in recent years, and really enjoyed it. We're going in September and had made ressies for a Saturday night at 7:30. I realized that since we'll be just getting in that day from driving straight through the night from NY that it's probably too late. I keep trying to make it earlier that day, to no avail. I've also tried the following Friday or Sunday for dinner too, and the earliest they have is 8:00. I guess it's a good sign that it's gotten so popular, I was just surprised. Anyone else experience that too?

You may want to check your reservations! I read that the Concourse was closing for good in like July or August so your reservations may not be any good!!

ETA:August 2007 - Newly renovated Fantasia Shop will re-open.

June 11, 2007 through November 2007 - The Lobby will undergo partitioned refurbishments to update the area's image and decor.

July 2007 through October 2007 - The resort's grounds will undergo partitioned refurbishments to install new landscaping and re-route existing guests paths.

July 30, 2007 through April 2008 - The Food & Fun Center will be closed for major renovations. The location will re-open as a new table service option, "The Wave". During this time a temporary counter service location will be operating on the Grand Concourse level near the Outer Rim Lounge.

April 2008 through August 14, 2008 -The Concourse Steak house will be closed for major renovations. The location will re-open as the new Counter Service location for the resort. During this time a temporary counter service location will be operating on the Grand Concourse level near the Outer Rim Lounge.



You may be ok but I'd have a back up plan just in case

Since my TA just made our ADRS for there in November, I looked again. It is 2008 that it will be closing.

Looks like it should be ok. Your dates have April 2008 and I have read that in several other places.
Hope so anyway cause I am planning on making an ADR there for our trip in December.

You might be having a hard time due to free dining is being offered in Sept. and if people can't get Le Cellier and want a steakhouse they might be getting ADR's there or just because they want to try it. I think during Free Dining all of the places to eat get very busy.
